Who is Paris Hilton?
Paris Hilton and her sister Nicky Hilton are the heiresses to the Hilton Hotel fortune. Paris is well-known for being a liberated party-girl, socialite, model, actress, and reality TV star. Her family's fortune allows Paris to go all out and party all day. Most pics of Paris Hilton are taken when she is how on the town, partying with Hollywood's A-list stars and musicians. Her fortune has allowed her to be so wild that she gained enough interest to support a role in 'The Simple Life' TV series (see photos). Her role in 'The Simple Life' sykroketed her to even further fame and noteriety. Paris followed up her role on 'The Simple Life' with the supposedly inadvertent release of her infamous 'Sex Tape', which show's Paris having explicit sex with her former boyfriend, Rick Solomon. Paris Hilton was born on February 17th, 1981, to Rick and Kathy Hilton, making her the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton Hotels and source of the family fortune, estimated at $300 million. Her grandfather, Conrad 'Nicky' Hilton, Jr., also brought some notoriety to the family, as he was the first of Elizabeth Taylor's many ex-husbands. Paris' younger sister, Nicky (born in 1983), shares the throne as co-heiress of the Hilton hotel empire. A few people joke about Paris Hilton being named after the Paris Hotel, or about the hotel being named after Paris, but the Paris Hotel seems to have little connection to her - in fact, when she goes to Paris she goes to other Paris hotels.
